Also mention folding, holes, string, adhesive, cutting or special finish requirements. These details help determine the correct production technique.
Which file format is best for a logo or design?
Vector PDF, SVG, AI or EPS files are the best starting point for logos and line artwork because they scale without quality loss. If you only have an image file, a high-resolution PNG/TIFF/JPG can also be reviewed. Very small text and fine lines may need adjustment for the production technique.
Are samples available?
Sample availability depends on product type and production technique, so it cannot be guaranteed for every product. Once you share product, quantity and technical details, the sample option, any sample cost and the process are confirmed for your order.
What is the minimum order quantity?
One fixed minimum quantity does not apply to every label type. Loom setup, printing method, tooling/plate requirements, material and size affect the minimum. The exact minimum is therefore provided at quotation stage after the product is selected.
How long do production and delivery take?
Because product type, quantity, sampling/approval, special materials and production load vary, one fixed delivery time is not accurate for every order. The production and shipping plan is confirmed after order details are clear. Our working hours are Monday – Saturday / 09:00 – 18:00 .
Is fiber-content labeling mandatory for textile products in Türkiye?
Under textile-product rules published by Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade, covered textile products are labeled or marked to show fiber composition. Labeling should be durable, legible, visible and accessible, and the label should be securely attached. The relevant regulation also addresses Turkish-language labeling/marking. Check the official regulation for product-specific scope and exemptions.
Which standard are care-label symbols based on?
ISO 3758:2023 defines the graphic-symbol system used for care labeling of textiles. It covers washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional textile care. The product owner is responsible for ensuring symbols and care information match the actual material and test results.
What should be considered when printing a barcode on a hang tag?
GS1 Türkiye notes that excessively reducing barcode size can cause scanning problems, that high contrast matters, and that black bars on white are among the most suitable combinations. Placement should also consider packaging and printing method. Barcode numbers and symbol types should use the correct GS1 structure for the product’s commercial use case.
Can we add a QR code to a hang tag?
Yes. A QR code can link to a product page, care information, verification or brand content. If commercial product identification and supply-chain data are also needed, standardized structures such as GS1 Digital Link can be considered. Test the printed code at its actual size with phones and, where relevant, scanners.
Will the produced label color exactly match the screen?
No. Screen color and physical yarn, dye, ink, leather or cardboard do not use the same color system. Monitor brightness and RGB display can differ from physical production. For critical colors, it is safer to use a physical reference, color code and, where possible, a sample/approval.
Can the same product be reproduced on a repeat order?
If size, material, color and production references from the previous order are preserved, a repeat order can be planned from the same technical data. Changes in raw-material lots, production method or revisions should still be reconfirmed.
Who is responsible for the accuracy of label content, care information and barcodes?
Tolhas Etiket produces according to customer-approved content and design. Fiber composition, care instructions, GTIN/barcode data, mandatory regulatory information and their accuracy must be confirmed by the product owner/manufacturer. Türkiye’s relevant textile regulation also addresses the manufacturer’s responsibility for the accuracy of labeling or marking information.
